Claire's Yellow Brick Road

This is three coats of Claire's Yellow Brick Road. It's a nice shade of yellow, but the finish is chalky and wasn't quite nice even with a topcoat. This one's going into my stash for frankening, not to be worn again.

Thanks for reading!

  1. That's a shame. I hear yellow is a tough shade to do well. I can imagine, it's so sheer a pigment. Even in acrylic paints it's almost impossible to get an opaque yellow.

  2. I agree it's a shame that it's so chalky, but I think I might still love it. :)

  3. It's a pretty yellow - too bad application stinks.
