French Tip Dip Riviera Moon

I won a French Tip Dip Kit a while back and ended up really liking their white polish and their topcoat. I contacted them to see if they might be interested in sending me some of their other polish colors to try out and French Tip Dip Riviera Moon is the second one I tried.

I'm not really a big sheer fan, but I love this one even more than yesterday's Cannes! Once again, the formula was terrific and you can get this look with just 2 coats. Hard to capture this one! Riviera Moon is an excellent name for this lovely polish. It's a bit frosty and has more of an off white tinted base as opposed to the clear base in Cannes. Both Cannes & Riviera Moon are polishes that really shine in low light. Constantly flashing a subtle glow of color.
My boyfriend Will loves this one too. Who would have thought that I would love 2 sheers in a row! This is why I love to get samples and win prizes in giveaways. I end up trying things I would never purchase & end up broadening my horizons!

Tomorrow I'll show both Cannes & Riviera Moon layered over a few colors.

Thanks for reading!

  1. isn't it kind of obnoxious to ask a company to send you free stuff?

  2. @Anonymous

I don't do it very often & I certainly never expect anything. I often don't hear back but I never have hard feelings.
My blog is has been around for over 2 years with constant updates & I've received great feedback from the companies I've dealt with in the past.
I always disclose if I've gotten something from a company.
I definitely think it can be obnoxious for people to publicly call out companies who don't give them free stuff, especially if the blog is new.
I never ask for stuff on facebook or twitter, only one private email.
If the company thinks it's obnoxious, I imagine they just won't sent me anything.

  5. I don't think it's obnoxious to request samples for review. The relationship between a cosmetics company (a brand) and a blog that reviews and uses cosmetics for its content (also a brand) is symbiotic in the best sense. Cosmetics companies send samples because they want to have their products reviewed. The bloggers who receive those samples have products to review and use for content. It's a win-win.

    1. Doesn't look like they currently have in polishes for sale. You might try looking for some older Sally Hansen Nail Prisms polishes. Good luck!
