Sation Blue Sky's The Limit & Cloud Nail Art

Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes & they are priced at just $5. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Sation will be releasing a new fall collection soon called Little Horse On The Prairie.
Sation Blue Sky's The Limit is my new favorite blue polish!! I've been looking for a cornflower blue creme for a long time & this one is exactly what I had in mind. This one is just a bit dustier than a true sky blue & oh so pretty! The formula is a bit thicker than my other Sations & I did need a bit of thinner to get the consistency I like. It's very pigmented though & I only needed 2 coats for opacity. Gorgeous polish!

The next night I decided to turn my blue nails into blue skies. I used Sation Snow White to sponge myself some clouds & Barielle Soul-er Powered (I forgot how pretty it is!) for the sun. Super easy!

Sally Hanson Insta-Dri Beige Blast & An Accent Nail

I want to love Sally Hansen Beige Blast but the formula was pretty terrible. It took 3 coats for opacity, which is fine, but it took forever to dry. After 3 or 4 hours it was finally dry but full of bubbles. Pretty color but I'm getting rid of this one. Seriously, look at all those bubbles!
I love skulls!
This whole post is a bit of a failure. I tried an accent nail that sounded like a great idea in my head, but my execution was clunky. I was going for a pretty tree...

Sation Hot 4 Teacher & Halftone Nail Art

Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Sation has just released a limited edition collection called Class of Sation, available now.
Sation Hot 4 Teacher is a magenta neon creme. Two coats for opacity. It does dry matte, like most neons, so you'll need a top coat to add shine & help level it out a bit. Pretty color for summer but I think I'll pass this one along to a friend who loves neons more than I do. I can't resist posting this video!

The next day I tried some stamping but I couldn't get the colors bright enough so I pulled out my dotting tools instead for this halftone manicure. I used Essie Brazilliant, American Apparel Hassid, Quirius Caribbean Turquoise, & Sation Miss Emo Shun All. I tried this idea almost 3 years ago with different colors but I really love this one!

Pomegranate Fiery & Lava Lamp Nails?

Pomegranate polishes are big 3free - no toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP. They are also cruelty-free & made in the USA! Pomegranate brushes are very narrow but I know some of you ladies like narrow brushes for more control. They can be purchased from their website for $9.

Pomegranate Fiery is a beautiful one coat wonder! This is one of the shades I never would have picked for myself but I love it so much. Superb formula that looks spectacular at just one easily applied, streak free coat. There is still visible nail line but I don't mind that at all. Perfect summer polish!

The next day I tried out a manicure that looked awesome in person but I just couldn't capture it in my photos. Will says it looks like a lava lamp! I just added some big dots of Sation Violet Flare and then sponged them flat.

Pomegranate Cyberspace is an excellent charcoal scattered holographic polish. We all love a good subtle holo! Great formula that covers in just two coats.

The next day I added some stripes of China Glaze 2NITE. Sometimes the simple manicures are best. I love this one!

Pomegrante Beach House

Pomegranate polishes are big 3free - no toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP. They are also cruelty-free & made in the USA! Pomegranate brushes are very narrow but I know some of you ladies like narrow brushes for more control. They can be purchased from their website for $9.

Pomegranate Beach House is a lovely sea foam green polish with just a tiny bit of silver micro shimmer. It looks like a creme on the nail but I've found over the years that this sort of hidden shimmer seems to make pastel polishes apply much better than similar shades without it. Have any of you ever noticed this? Anyway, Beach House is a definite keeper & I can't wait to try more of their polishes!

Sation Pyramid Princess is a crazy glitter, gold micro glitter, small red, green, gold & purple bar glitter, small green & purple glitter, & red & turquoise medium glitter!! Whew! Only two coats & no need to go fishing for any of the glitter. Easy application & unique polish! I finally tried the foil method for removal & it worked like a charm! Helps so much with glitter polishes.

And The Winner Is...

I loved hosting last month's nail art contest & was happy to receive 42 excellent entries!! I hope all of you participants got some extra traffic to your sites.

The following entries stood out from the rest for me. Both really got into the spirit of the contest & both are very talented ladies!

First we have this entry from The Gorgeois, who deserves to have way more followers. I love this entry based on a picture she found on my blog of one of my favorite dresses. She really nailed it; I knew it was inspired by my dress before I even saw her post. She has some serious skills; look at those details!!

Next up, this stunner from Kelsie's Nail Files, who also deserves to have way more followers. Kelsie looked through my Nail Art Inspiration Pinterest Board & came up with this amazing & dead on interpretation of a poster I love. So cool!

I really couldn't choose between the two so I'm sending them both a prize!

I promised another winner would be chosen by Random.org & that lucky lady is #12!

I'll be emailing all of the winners shortly for your shipping information.

Thanks so much to all of the participants who took the time to enter!!
