Lime Crime Zodiac Loose Glitter Cancer & Lime Crime Milky Ways

Here's my second attempt at using loose glitter. Actually the glitter application in the first three photos was done by my amazing boyfriend, Will. I'll show my own hideous but hilarious attempts at the end of the post. I used Lime Crime Milky Ways for the base & then Will sprinkled Lime Crime Zodiac Cancer on top while it was still wet. It's a very pretty vivid turquoise glitter.

Will took the glitter shaker away from me after seeing the mess I made of my left hand! I started with my pinkie & it was okay, but then I for a big glob on the next finger. I thought I would just try to do a heavier coat but I was still just making a mess. I'm very clumsy & impatient & this type of application takes a steady but light touch & Will had no trouble at all. He suggested covering two of the three shaker holes with tape for my next attempt.

  2. So LimeCrime's repacking TKB again complete with outrageous markup?

Interesting. I thought they'd decided to go in another direction after the citizens of teh interwebz figured it out the first time. Especially since LimeCrime started selling private label products and discontinued the Magic Dust in a transparent attempt to make the drama go away.

I guess the opportunity for Doe to make some quick money off her trusting fans must just be too tempting.

  3. Very cute!! I saw someone else mixed their glitter with top coat to apply it. That seems like it would be easier and way less messy! lol.
