Sally Hansen Plum's The Word

Sally Hansen Plum's The Word is part of their Complete Salon Manicure line. This line has fantastic wide brushes that I adore and lots of great colors.Plum's the Word barely needed a second coat and will be very flattering on a wide range of skin tones. Fabulous polish!
I love this beer label! A collaboration between Jester King and Prairie Artisan Ales!

Zoya Rayne

Zoya Rayne is from their Spring 2015 Delight collection.
Zoya Rayne is a medium toned icy blue packed with turquoise micro shimmer. Perfect for snowy, icy cold days or sunny spring weather! Rayne is pretty streaky so I definitely needed 3 coats. Unlike anything else in my collection and definitely a keeper!

Pink Ombre Dots With Zoya!

Every once in a while a manicure turns out exactly the way you saw it in your head and that was the case here. I was going to watch my friend's beautiful dress boutique for the day and I knew I wanted a killer outfit and nails to match. Her shop, Volutpe, is so gorgeous, and I wanted to fit in since I'd be representing her business for the day.
Anyway I picked a grey and pink sweater dress that is super comfy and this giant pair of burgundy socks from Sock Dreams. I did my nails to match, starting with a base of Zoya Dove. Then I added random dots in a variety of Zoya pinks. From darkest to lightest I used Zoya Toni, Reagan, Lara, and Shelby.

Double Sponge Gradient With Maybelline

I was going out on the town and Maybelline Pretty In Peach just didn't go with anything I wanted to wear. I needed a fast way make it work with my killer navy dress so I went with my go to nail art, gradients. This time I opted for lots of texture and and left just a bit of the peach color exposed in the middle of my nail. Looked great and was super easy and fast! I used Maybelline New Year's Blues to coordinate with my navy dress.

My friend made me a bracelet with a file I made with Nervous System's bracelet generator app! I emailed him the .stl and next day I had a 3D printed bracelet. I'm pretty darn happy to be alive right now with all of this fun new technology!

Maybelline Pretty In Peach

Maybelline Pretty In Peach is part of their current Color Show line. I really love Gilded Rose, the only other Maybelline Color Show polish I own, and Pretty In Peach is great too. Good formula and a very fun color for a dreary winter day. Oranges aren't very flattering on my skin tone but I love them anyway so I'll be keeping this one for sure.

Black Hearts

Hmm, sometimes ideas just don't work out quite like you think they will This design is ok and I love the background but I think it would have been much better if the hearts had been a very dark grey instead of straight up black. I started with this delicate layering combo of Zoya Tiana and Chloe and used Zoya Willa for the hearts which just seems too harsh. I think Zoya Genevieve would have been a better choice.

Layering With Zoya

I love flakies! This combo of Zoya Tiana topped with Zoya Chloe still doesn't beat my all time favorite combo but it sure is pretty!

Pretty Pink Nails With Zoya

Every now and then I must use a polish that I can apply in one coat and doesn't need a topcoat because I need to get out the door soon. I always go to my blog to look at my one coat wonder category and this time I landed on Zoya Bobbi. What a great polish! Truly looks spectacular after one coat that practically applies itself with no clean up needed. No topcoat either since it's a foil and dries very quickly.
The next day I added an accent nail in Zoya Ginni for a pretty mixed texture Valentine's Day look. Lovely!
I love my giant socks from Sock Dreams so much. I'm 6' tall and these go ALL the way up and stay there.

Zoya Tiana

Zoya Tiana is from their Spring 2015 Delight collection.
Zoya Tiana is a truly amazing green creme. Zoya describes it as pistachio gelato but it reminds me of these Jadite dishes! Tiana is shown here at 3 coats needed to even out a bit of streakiness. Very easy to apply for a pale creme polish though which I usually find to be a pain the behind. Tiana might just be my new favorite green polish!

Nabi Hologram Bronze

I can't find much information about this brand but I picked up a few of their hologram polishes at Walgreens a few months ago on clearance. Nabi Hologram Bronze is a gorgeous burnt orange scattered holo unlike anything in my collection. Shown here at 2 coats with no topcoat to preserve the holo effect that can so often be negated with topcoat. Nabi Bronze was very easy to apply and is shown here at 2 coats. It does dry quickly so you do have to be careful about going over an area more than once or you might get a bit of dragging. Overall a gorgeous and unique polish that I'm thrilled to have!

Valentine's Day Leopard Heart Accent Nail

Leopard print nails are always fun and I like this variation with heart shaped spots. I started with a base of Essie Angora Cardi and then added heart spots in American Apparel California Trooper and Sation Board Girl Blue.

Revlon For Valentine's Day

Here are some quick and easy Valentine's Day nails for you. I started with a base of Revlon Spice It Up and then added a layer of Revlon Sparkling to most of my nails. Revlon Sparkling is a clear base with small circle and medium hex glitter in a nice rosey pink, not my style but pretty. I'm not usually a fan of most glitter toppers though. I added a large heart of Revlon sparkling for an accent nail. Pretty manicure even if it's a bit out of my comfort zone.

Revlon Spice It Up

Revlon Spice It Up is from their 2011 Spice It Up collection. I don't usually go for vampy polishes but there's just something about this one that I really love. Revlon Spice It Up is a deep brick red with copper micro shimmer that applies easily in 2 coats. Gorgeous!

Layering With Milani Diamond Dazzle

I'm not usually interested in glitter toppers but Milani Diamond Dazzle is awfully pretty! This is one coat of Diamond Dazzle layered over Milani Deep Thoughts. I love the delicate pastel glitter and it was very easy to apply with great coverage in just one coat. Easy to remove for a glitter polish too.

Zoya Oswin

Zoya Oswin is from their Ultra Pixie Dust Collection.
Zoya Oswin didn't have the same problems as Noir and Arianna from the same set. It dried to a nicely textured matte finish. Very pretty polish that has been discontinued but is still currently available so get one now if you like it!
