BB Couture Butt-Naked Bronze

This is 3 coats of BB Couture Butt-Naked Bronze, a caramel colored shimmer polish. Nice color and great formula as expected from BB Couture. The boyfriend and I really hated this one on me! It looks good in the pictures though and would look lovely on dark skin tones!

BB Couture Dragon's Breath

This is 3 coats of BB Couture Dragon's Breath. Man it's gorgeous! Dragon's Breath is the number one selling purple on Overall Beauty and I can see why. It's a very unique plum jelly with super fine silver glitter. Great formula too. I say this is a must have for any purple lover, maybe any polish lover period!

I won this polish from the lovely Audrey of Le Vernis Chocolat. Audrey sadly just announced that she will be leaving the blogging world for health reasons. Go wish this classy lady a fond farewell if you haven't already done so.

Soccer Nail Art

I did these for a nail art contest over at Linnie's Favorites. I used BB Couture Poison Ivy for the grass, Konad plate M57 and Sally Hansen White Out for the net, and Migi Nail Art pens for the goal posts and the balls.
I decided to go with the traditional soccer ball pattern instead of the official World Cup 2010 Jabulani ball. The Jabulani just isn't very recognizable or interesting compared with the traditional pattern.
I love how these turned out! You can check out the other great entries and vote for your favorite here. I voted for Claudia!

A Few BB Coutures

I won these along with Poison Ivy as part of an Earth Day BB Couture set. I love Poison Ivy, but unfortunately, I don't like any of these 3 brushstrokey frosts. I used 3 coats for each of them.

First we have BB Couture Espresso Dream which I would describe as a frosty, metallic tan.

There was a pretty little butterfly flitting around my garden while taking pictures of this one.

Next we have BB Couture Caramel Carma, a frosty metallic caramel.

Finally we have BB Couture Autumn Sunset, a rusty brown, frosty metallic. I thought I would like this one the most but it made me feel like a scary, mean, old lady! The kind that would play slots all day in Vegas with her hair all done up while she chain smokes menthols.

I put all three of them on my pinky and I like them together.

The formula was nice and BB Couture still has more colors that I want to own than any other company. These three frosty browns just don't do it for me though.

BB Couture Poison Ivy & Layering With Zoya Bailey & Zoya Raine

I won BB Couture Poison Ivy and 3 other BB Coutures in a fun giveaway on Overall Beauty's Facebook page last month! This has been on my wishlist for quite some time and it does not disappoint. Great application! Gorgeous green creme! I think BB Couture has more polishes that I want than any other brand. I only have Green Goblin so far which you can see here. My nails sure have changed in the past year!

Here is BB Couture with one coat of Zoya Bailey on my pinky and one coat of Zoya Raine on my ring finger. I really think these are outstanding polishes for layering! Bailey gives things a lovely sugar coated look and Raine is unbelievable in person. The microshimmer shifts from purple to pink and you can still clearly see the base color. This makes for some amazing color changes that I just couldn't quite capture while chasing the sun that day. If you like either of the Zoyas, please enter my Zoya Underrated Beauties Giveaway for a chance to win them!

BB Couture Green Goblin

I love this color! I found it very easy to apply, this is 2 coats and no topcoat. We have been using nail polish as rewards for accomplishing goals while starting our business and this was a surprise present from Ashley for making it to the next round of the Tulsa Entrepreneurial Spirit Award competition. Thanks Ashley! The first 2 pictures are indoors and the rest were shot outside.

BB Couture Electric Avenue

We did a order from Overall Beauty and now have our first BB Couture's!
I ordered Electric Avenue. I fell in love with it when I saw it on The Polish Addict's blog. I couldn't get it out of my head, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect since I knew a lot of people were having application issues. But I'm so glad I bought it. It's now one of my favorite colors!
It is a gorgeous pale light blue color. I didn't find it hard to apply, but it did take 5 coats to build bottle color.
April will post her pictures of her BB Couture Polish very soon! Hint it's a green creme, which are my favorites. I will definitely be trying it soon!
