This is two coats of Sation Love At First Byte from their Miss Antoinette Spring 2013 collection. Superb formula that applies streak free even at one coat so it could be worn more sheer. It's a peachy beige that will work great for french manicures, half moons, & other nail art. Another winner from Sation just for the outstanding formula alone!

Layering With Zoya Cho & Godiva
Zoya Godiva is my third textured polish to try from their Zoya Pixie Dust Collection. I love it just as much as the others I've tried!
Here's what Zoya has to say about these polishes.
Infused with magic and wonder! The latest "must-have" nail polish finish - textured, matte and sparkling! This newly developed formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other. The color experts at Zoya have created six, long-wearing stunners for the introduction of this enchanting look.I followed the above instructions for both Chyna & Dahlia and they worked great, but I decided to try something different for Godiva. (That's what nail polish bloggers are here for right?) I tried layering it over Zoya Cho on my nail wheel & I could only detect the slightest of differences in the end result.
IMPORTANT Pixie Dust Application Information - Do not use a base coat or top coat. Apply 1-3 (for full coverage) thin coats of polish. Allow product to dry down completely matte in between layers for full textured effect. The Pixie Dust textured formula may take up to 10 minutes to dry completely matte. Once dry, the textured finish is long lasting, matte and ultra-glittery!

I used my regular base coat (Nailtek Foundation II), then two coats of Zoya Cho, topped with one coat of Zoya Godiva. Most bloggers report that Godiva needs three coats for full coverage. Since you definitely need to wait for each coat to dry when applying the Pixie Dust polishes, this seems like a nice alternative.
I'm totally in love with this collection so far. Zoya Cho & Godiva are the perfect companions!

Sation Chocloate Chip Resistant
You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Sation Chocolate Chip Resistant is from their new limited edition collection, Candylandia.
Sation Chocolate Chip Resistant is a peach leaning neutral with hidden shimmer. Really awesome color but not great with my skintone. Shown here at three easily applied coats. I'll be passing this one on to a lucky friend with either much darker or lighter skin than mine. I'm using it as the base for this year's first Valentine's Day nails before it moves on though. I'll have that post up soon.

Lime Crime Zodiac Loose Glitter Cancer & Lime Crime Milky Ways
Here's my second attempt at using loose glitter. Actually the glitter application in the first three photos was done by my amazing boyfriend, Will. I'll show my own hideous but hilarious attempts at the end of the post. I used Lime Crime Milky Ways for the base & then Will sprinkled Lime Crime Zodiac Cancer on top while it was still wet. It's a very pretty vivid turquoise glitter.

Will took the glitter shaker away from me after seeing the mess I made of my left hand! I started with my pinkie & it was okay, but then I for a big glob on the next finger. I thought I would just try to do a heavier coat but I was still just making a mess. I'm very clumsy & impatient & this type of application takes a steady but light touch & Will had no trouble at all. He suggested covering two of the three shaker holes with tape for my next attempt.

Sation Prairie Fairy
Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are
great for ladies like me that love wide brushes & they are priced at just $5. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Here we have Sation Prairie Fairy from their fall collection, Little Horse On The Prairie.
Sation Prairie Fairy does not look good on me. Will & I agreed that it looked like Barbie flesh. It's not a bad polish, just not right for my skin tone. The formula was a bit thick but applied nicely after a couple of drops of thinner. I gave this one to my sister Alisa who has a more alabaster complexion & it looks lovely on her. I think it would work well with some darker skin tones too.

Sally Hanson Insta-Dri Beige Blast & An Accent Nail
I want to love Sally Hansen Beige Blast but the formula was pretty terrible. It took 3 coats for opacity, which is fine, but it took forever to dry. After 3 or 4 hours it was finally dry but full of bubbles. Pretty color but I'm getting rid of this one. Seriously, look at all those bubbles!

Nail Art Inspired By Little Green Hearts Blog
I've had this manicure by Little Green Heart saved in my inspiration bookmarks for ages & I finally made my own version. It's very quick & easy & I love the results! I used Sation Cappuccino for the base, American Apparel Hassid, Essie Little Brown Dress, & Sation Midtown Haze for the dots.

Sation Cappuccino
I have some more Sation beauties to show you over the next week or so & another Sation giveaway to announce soon too! Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes. The formula on all the ones I've tried is excellent. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website.
This is Sation Cappuccino. Another lovely polish that seems to be a cross between a jelly & cream finish. All of the Sations I've tried are super shiny & this one is no exception. The formula glides on with almost no cleanup necessary. I'm not sure this is quite the right nude shade for my pale winter skin, but I'm going to give it another go after I lose my deathly winter pallor. It makes a fantastic base for nail art & I've got a quick one to show you soon.

Sation Classical Note & Bump In Beige & Some Quick Nail Art
Sation recently updated their brand & bottles & I have a few of
their new polishes to show you. The bottles are oval with
thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that
love wide brushes. The formula on all the ones I've tried is excellent. You can find out more about the brand on their Facebook page.
First we have Classical Note, a dusty berry with a finish somewhere between a creme & a jelly. Great formula & only needs 2 coats. A classic just as the name suggests!
Next is Bump In Beige, a new favorite color that I've already worn twice. It's a beautiful shade of beige with just a hint of rose in the same creme/jelly finish as Classical Note. Often colors like this are hard to work with but Bump In Beige has a dreamy formula.
The next day I tried a little nail art with the fan brush that came with nail art brush set. I'm not entirely pleased with the results but it was easy & very fast.

Zoya Cho & Farah: A Nail Art Comparison!
Zoya Cho & Farah are from the newly released True collection. I'll have the rest of the collection up over the next week or so. I can tell you that I love the whole collection just as much as I did Zoya's Intimate collection from spring last year! As many other bloggers have pointed out, Zoya really nails their color descriptions so I'll be using them in my posts.
First up we have Zoya Cho an "opaque yellow-toned light soft peachy beige with a hint of ultra fine silver shimmer. A light, creamy nude especially nice for skin tones with olive or yellow undertones."
I added a few drops of thinner to aid in application and had no problems after that. I think it's gorgeous! I've got lots of pictures in full sun & in the shade.
Next we have Zoya Farah "an opaque light khaki-beige with subtle sandy, greenish undertones and a cream finish." I love this one too! The application was typical of a pastel creme and didn't self level very well, but a few drops of thinner & topcoat evened things out nicely.
I know many people will want to see how these two compare. I did some simple but lovely nail art so my readers can really see them side by side. This was so pretty in person!! I used Cho for the base & Farah for the tips.
