China Glaze Cast A Spell

I won this one from Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom; thanks Destany! This is 2 coats of China Glaze Cast A Spell. It's a lovely dark pine green glass flecked polish. It's a little too dark for me though so I'll be passing this one along to a friend.

Pomegranate Cyberspace & Holographic Stripes!

Pomegranate polishes are big 3free - no toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP. They are also cruelty-free & made in the USA! Pomegranate brushes are very narrow but I know some of you ladies like narrow brushes for more control. They can be purchased from their website for $9.

Pomegranate Cyberspace is an excellent charcoal scattered holographic polish. We all love a good subtle holo! Great formula that covers in just two coats.

The next day I added some stripes of China Glaze 2NITE. Sometimes the simple manicures are best. I love this one!

China Glaze Millennium

I've posted about this polish before but I think it deserves another look. It's one of my all time favorites for many reasons. One coat if you're careful & it dries super fast! If you need to get out the door fast China Glaze Millennium is an excellent choice!! This is one coat without topcoat which it doesn't need. You have to avoid brushstrokes but a little practice makes application very easy.

Nail Art Inspired By Confessions of a Polishaholic

I have tons of posts saved of my favorite nail art from fellow bloggers. This manicure was inspired by Confessions of a Polishaholic's Silver Holo Skyscrapers from this summer. I love simple nail art like this, especially when I think it will be a great way to refresh an old manicure. Plus this one is super easy! I don't really love my version but I still love the idea and will probably use it again someday.
I didn't go for a skyscraper look since I used a purple polish, the drop dead gorgeous L.A. Girl Amethyst. I think these pictures show it off even better than my original post since I have a newer camera now. Anyway, I then added uneven stripes of China Glaze OMG. This is super easy and fast! Just make the stripes the width of the brush and vary their length.

Thanks for the idea Orlica & thanks to all of you for reading!

China Glaze 2NITE (Still a few left @ Medusa's Threads)

This is China Glaze 2NITE in all it's glory & magnificence! From the much sought after OMG collection. Needs no words. This polish is so incredible that my pictures look like I applied some sort of crazy photo shop effect to my nails but they are accurate. This polish is MAGICAL!

I tried to resist keeping one of these for myself but I just couldn't stand it anymore. I've been wearing it for almost 2 weeks!!! I took it off and then went right back to it twice! This is unheard of behavior in my world. I ususally change my polish at least 3 times a week. Even if I don't have time to change polish, I always add something to it, stamping, flakies, marbling or something. But this one lived all by itself because it's just too gorgeous.

I have a very limited quantity left in my store Medusa's Threads. Don't forget to check out my current promotion too!

China Glaze Stellar At Disney World

Wow! What a crazy week I've had. Last Sunday I drove from Tulsa to Brooklyn with a very good friend who is moving to Long Island. We got to go to the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibit at the Met in Manhattan. It was so amazing that we went through twice! Here are a few of my favorites. Look at the feathers on the one pictured above. Truly spectacular!

Then I flew from New York to Walt Disney World to meet up with Will & his family. Here are my nails with Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom. China Glaze Stellar is one of my favorite polishes and I knew I wouldn't be able to change my nails for a whole 9 days! This is day number 7 and it still looks great.

Sorry I missed last week's Giveaway Roundup. I'll be posting today's later tonight. I'm so behind on my blog reading since I didn't have my computer for over a week.

Look for some nails coming soon that are inspired by my vacation!

China Glaze Ruby Pumps & Dotting Tools

This is the longest my nails have ever been! I think they are actually too long for me, but it was fun to try out once, just to see. I used the gorgeous China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the base and Quirius Caribbean Turquoise & American Apparel Hassid for the dots. This is the first time I've successfully used my dotting tools and I love this manicure! Thanks again Alisa for getting them for me for Christmas!

China Glaze OMG & Christmas Nails

This is 3 coats of the much loved China Glaze OMG. I featured OMG in one of my very first posts, but I think it's worth showing again. My nails are so much nicer now! The first 2 pictures were taken in full sun, next I took one in the shade and then 2 indoors with a flash.
OMG dries super fast and you can have a bit of drag before you get used to the formula. Once you get the hang of it though, it is very easy to apply and a great option if you need to get out of the house quickly. It's still in my top 5 favorites for sure!

Do any of you know where I can find a list of the China Glaze polishes and the numbers that are listed on the bottom near the name? There is a beauty supply store in town that has TONS of old China Glaze polishes but they are still in their boxes and shelved by number. The owner doesn't want people to browse but expects you to know what you want and ask her for it. If I had a list of the names and numbers, I could easily see what she had without waiting for her to look up the numbers and without having to know exactly what I want before I arrive. I know she has the whole OMG & the Kaleidoscope collections. Help me out and I'll see if I can find some rarities for future giveaways!

Here is my second attempt at a Christmas Tree manicure inspired by Blue Tape and Nail Tips Shooting Star manicure. I don't like how this one turned out very much but I still say it's a great idea even though I messed it up twice! Prove me right ladies and make some Christmas Trees!

China Glaze Strawberry Fields

I don't own many polishes in the red/pink/orange family. I'm just not usually drawn to them. China Glaze Strawberry Fields is a major exception. I truly think this is one of the most gorgeous nail polishes ever! That golden glass-flecked sparkle sets this one above and beyond other pinks.
