OPI You Don't Know Jacques!

OPI You Don't Know Jacques! was originally from their Fall 2008 La Collection de France but has since been made part of their Classics collection. It was a huge hit when released and is still a great color. Shown here at three thin coats - application was mostly good but the formula is very thin so the polish did flood my cuticles a couple of times. Still a winner though!

Sally Hansen Bare Hug

Sally Hansen is my favorite drug store polish brand and Sally Hansen Bare Hug is another fantastic polish. Truly great formula for a pale creme that covers in just two coats. Lovely neutral color too!

Zoya Spencer

Zoya Spencer is from their Naturel 2 collection. Spencer is a nice camel colored polish that applies well in 2 coats. It's a good polish but I don't love it with my skin tone so I'll be passing it along to a friend.
Prairie Artisan Ales are a local brewery here in Tulsa that make truly spectacular beers with great art too! This Cherry Funk label cracks me up for some reason. Below is one of my beloved Paririe Dinosaur glasses. So cute!

An old school Threadless t-shirt that I just had to have. I still love it so much!

Zoya Madeline

Zoya Madeline, from their 2014 Naturel 2 Collection, is described as a muted rose creme. I can't think of a more appropriate polish for work or even an important job interview. Madeline will look great with any outfit and most any skin tone. If you've been looking for a perfect neutral polish for those occasions when you need understated nails, Zoya Madeline is an excellent choice. Shown here at 2 easily applied coats with no formula issues.

Zoya Chanelle

Zoya Chanelle is from their Naturel 2 collection and is described as a toasted almond cream. I'd call it a medium toned, well balanced brown that will look nice on a wide range of people. Chanelle is shown here at 2 coats that provided fantastic coverage but weren't the most self-leveling so a top coat is definitely required. Overall it's a lovely color that dries about 2 shades darker than bottle color and a keeper for me since I don't have anything quite like it.

Zoya Bar!

Zoya Bar is from their Magical Pixie Dust Summer 2014 & it is indeed magical!
Zoya Bar is part of Zoya's second set of Magical Pixie Dusts, textured sparkle polishes with holographic cellophane glitter! While I still love the plain Pixie Dusts more, these magical versions are also pretty special. Zoya Bar is a perfect neutral polish absolutely jam packed with bling. I wore Bar for 5 days which is very rare for me since I usually change my manicure much more frequently. The Pixie Dusts wear like iron and even if you do somehow manage to chip it, you can very easily just dab a bi of polish on & fix it right up, not something I can do with a creme polish!

If you love Zoya Tomoko & you love fancy nails with minimal effort, get this one immediately! Zoya Bar applied easily in two coats that dry superfast. I think Bar will be my new go to polish for when I need to get out the door fast but still HAVE to do something about my nails.

Joe Hill is one of my new favorite authors. This book was fantastic! Follow me on goodreads.

Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait

Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait has a great formula for a pale creme polish. Shown here at 3 thin coats that self level quite nicely. I love this shade with my skin tone too. Definitely a keeper!

Oklahoma springs are so windy! I couldn't resist this Threadless shirt several years ago. I have no idea why, but I just needed Mr. Choppy.

My Favorite Polka Dots!

Sation Bump In Beige is a truly fantastic polish. I used 2 thin coats to start this manicure. It applies like a dream with no streaks. It's also the best match for my skintone which is exactly what I wanted for this look. I added large & small dots of Sation Snow White in no particular pattern & the results are magical. I couldn't quit staring at my nails & wanted to show them off to everyone. Good thing I have a blog for that! Nude nails with a pattern in a bold color are something I'll be doing again for sure. Also this is very easy to do, so if you like it, give it a try!

Sation Tira Miss-U

Sation Tira Miss-U is so gorgeous! It's very similar to Zoya Rue but Sation's formula is much better, possibly because it's more of a jelly polish than a straight up creme. Shown here in two coats that applied like a dream. I'm in love with this lavender leaning neutral!

Zoya Rue

Zoya Rue is from their first release for 2014, Zoya Naturel.

Zoya Rue is my favorite from this collection, a gorgeous soft pink with hints of lavender. I must say Zoya Rue looks drastically different in photos I've seen across the internet, everywhere from a very pale pink to more purple tinged & darker like I've shown here. Lighting & skintone seem to make this one very much a chameleon. Neutral polishes are always going to be much more dependent on an individual than something like the latest knockout red or spacey blue glitter. I love this one though! Rue has a nice formula that covers in two coats.

Zoya Taylor

Zoya Taylor is from their first release for 2014, Zoya Naturel.

Zoya Taylor is a nice shade of khaki but the formula didn't work well for me at all. Shown here at 2 coats, it was stringy, streaky & didn't self level at all. Adding a topcoat didn't help as you can see in my pictures. I normally love Zoya polishes & I haven't seen others having the same issue with the formula that I've had. I'm going to pass this one along to a friend though since I have other neutral that I have better formulas in the same color family like Cho, Farah, & Jacqueline.

Zoya Odette

Zoya Odette is from their first release for 2014, Zoya Naturel.

Zoya Odette is a dusty, medium toned, orchid creme. Although the color didn't seem exciting at first glance, it is unique to my collection & very pretty. Shown here at 2 coats that applied much better after I added a few drops of thinner. I'm keeping this lovely lady.

Zoya Normani

Zoya Normani is from their first release for 2014, Zoya Naturel.

Zoya Normani is a pale brown creme with a hint of mauve, shown here at two coats. I think it could have used a third since I was trying to apply thin coats because the polish was a bit thick. It's a lovely color that will look great on a wide range of skintones but I'm going to pass this one along to a friend. I prefer Zoya Pasha, a highly underrated polish in my opinion!
