Jamberry Kiss

A friend of mine let me borrow a few Jamberry polishes to try out since I've never used them before. I tried one set of their nail wraps earlier this year and they are a lot of fun! Pictured here we have Jamberry Kiss from one of their summer collections. The brush is wider than average which I love and Kiss applied like a dream; I barley needed a second coat. I'm looking forward to trying more since this one is so nice and it looks like they have some pretty options!

Zoya Wendy

Zoya Wendy is my favorite from the Tickled Summer 2014 collection! It's a bright pink with strong coral leanings that I absolutely love! Great formula that covers in just 2 coats and made me happy every time I looked at it. My boyfriend Will also loves it & immediately used it for his toes. It looked darn good on him too! I took a ton of pictures of this beauty including a few of my adorable dog Wally & a shot with my beloved Rockport loafers. Wendy is an EXACT match for the chain detail on them!

Zoya Madeline

Zoya Madeline, from their 2014 Naturel 2 Collection, is described as a muted rose creme. I can't think of a more appropriate polish for work or even an important job interview. Madeline will look great with any outfit and most any skin tone. If you've been looking for a perfect neutral polish for those occasions when you need understated nails, Zoya Madeline is an excellent choice. Shown here at 2 easily applied coats with no formula issues.

I love graphic novels! Keep up with my reading on Goodreads!

Zoya Harper

Zoya Harper is my favorite from their Summer 2014 Bubbly collection.

Zoya describes Harper as "a cotton candy pink with a spun gold shimmer. Featuring the exclusive liquid-metal holographic jelly formula" & I agree. I love the way Zoya does gold & silver micro shimmer & it looks particularly stunning in a jelly formula. As for the holographic sparkles, they are the same lovely pastel cellophane glitter featured in Monet, just in a smaller size. Zoya Harper is shown here at 2 coats but I could almost get away with just one.

I didn't really like pink polish when I started blogging way back in 2009 but now I love a gorgeous pink and Harper has made into my top 5 favorite pinks for sure! I'd say this one is a must have for pink polish lovers.

Zoya Rooney

Zoya Rooney is from their Tickled Summer 2014 collection.

Rooney is a nicely balanced bright medium toned pink creme that will look great with lots of skin-tones. Shown here at two thin coats that applied nicely. Zoya Rooney is a great addition to my pink collection!

Zoya Ginni

Zoya Ginni is from their Magical Pixie Dust Summer 2014
Zoya Bar is part of Zoya's second set of Magical Pixie Dusts, textured sparkle polishes with holographic cellophane glitter like Monet. While I still love the plain Pixie Dusts more, these magical versions are also pretty special. Ginni applied very easily in two coats, dries quickly and looks fantastic. Super fancy nails fast!
I really loved this book! Check out what I'm reading on Goodreads..

Zoya Kitridge

Zoya Kitridge is from their Tickled Summer 2014 collection.
Tickled & Bubbly
I hated pink polish when I started blogging almost 5 years ago, but now I have a healthy appreciation for a great pink polish like Zoya Kitridge. Zoya accurately describes Kitridge as "a classic summer bubblegum pink cream." Shown here at 2 easily applied coats, Zoya Kitridge is a definite keeper!

Zoya Binx

Zoya Binx is from their Summer 2014 Bubbly collection.
Zoya describes Binx as "a spicy orchid purple dappled with gold metallic & holo sparkles" but I would definitely describe this one as a well balanced, medium toned pink jelly. I love the way Zoya does gold & silver micro shimmer & it looks particularly stunning in a jelly formula. As for the holographic sparkles, they are the same lovely pastel cellophane glitter featured in Monet, just in a smaller size.  Taken together it's a gorgeous combination that makes for a very unique polish. Binx would look great with just about any skin tone too!
I used 2 coats here & tried a third on on nail to see if I could get closer to the color seen in promo pics. I couldn't tell a difference so I just left it at two coats. Still a beautiful polish with an easy to work with formula.

Revlon Cherry Fizz

My friend Casey kindly gave me one of her cherished bottles of Revlon Cherry Fizz recently & I love it! Cherry Fizz is a dark hot pink jelly with sparse hot pink shimmer that's even prettier in person. It's got a great formula shown here at 5 coats. Perfect for spring & summer, thanks Casey!

Zoya Dot

Zoya Dot is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.

Zoya Dot is still streaky after three coats as shown here. I used the thin coat, medium coat, thin coat method recommended by many for pale creme polishes but still had a few streaks. I should have tried one more thin coat but the color & finish aren't unique enough to be worth the time & effort. Dot is a pretty pink but I have others with much better formulas, like Sation Off The Record Pink. So far, Dillon is the only polish I've tried from this collection that I will be keeping. Hudson & Rebel do look promising though.

Zoya Lux

Zoya Lux is from their Spring 2014 Magical Pixie Dust Collection.

I'm a huge fan of Zoya's classic Pixie Dust polishes. That's probably an understatement. If I was forced to choose my top 5 favorite collections of all time, all three of the Classic Pixie Dust collections would be in that list. I wasn't sure if I would love these new Magical Pixie dusts quite as much though. I love holographic polishes but I've never been a huge fan of chunky glitters.

Zoya Lux is the first one I've tried from this new collection so far & it will be the first Pixie Dust that I'm not going to keep, but not for the reason I suspected.

I actually love the bling brought to these beauties with the large holo glitter. The formula is a bit dry but still easy to apply. Lux just doesn't look that great with my skin tone. All of the silver sparkle & holo particles end up washing out the pink pigment quite a bit & it just looked desaturated on my hands. I think it would be lovely with extremely pale skin or dark skin as well. Just not for me.
One other word of caution, these are definitely grittier on your nail than the Classic Pixie Dusts. If texture bothers you, don't go for this collection! I'm still eager to try Cosmo & Vega since I love texture & my worry about the holo glitter proved unfounded. Not to mention dusty blues are my favorite color family.

I thought removal might be rather harsh & difficult but that also ended up being a non issue. My regular removal method worked just fine.
