Scratch Of Sweden Dusty Lavender

My sister Ashley let me borrow this polish from Scratch Of Sweden. I can't find much information about them but it looks like they've been around for 30 years in Sweden. Here's their Instagram and Facebook pages.
Scratch Of Sweden Dusty Lavender is shown here at three thin coats. Easy application and lovely color to wear year round.

Gradient With Bar Glitter

Bar glitter is hard to get right and often quite hideous. I'm still drawn to them occasionally though which is why I bought Nails Inc Feathers Chester on a whim. It looks so pretty all stacked up in the bottle!

I picked the colors from my last gradient specifically to go with it. I think it turned out pretty well!

Easy & Fast Gradient Nails

I love how this gradient turned out! I used Lime Crime Crema de Limon, Maybelline Pretty In Peach, and American Apparel The Valley. Super easy and fast. I did one nail at a time, starting with the blue polish, then adding the peach and finally the yellow. I worked quickly to make sure the colors could blend.

Trust Fund Beauty Elegantly Wasted

Trust Fund Beauty Elegantly Wasted is a gorgeous polish from a brand I've never tried. Here's a little info about Trust Fund Beauty from their website.
Unlike some of your relationships we are non-toxic and cruelty free.
We are an “indie” brand with an edge.  We want you to not just wear a colour but wear a statement on your nails.  We are a brand with an attitude that sources our polish from Canada and the USA. Our other products formulated with love in the EU.
Elegantly Wasted is shown here at two easily applied coats. I love purples in this tone all year round.

Nail Art Failure

Well, I accidentally did some nail art that's so subtle it's effectively pointless! Wearing China Glaze Cherry Pie with a side swipe of Roguish Red. The colors are so similar that it just looks like the shimmer is missing in the swipe but only if you look REALLY hard. Still great polishes though and not every experiment turns out well.

Sally Hansen Big Smoky Top Coat

Sally Hansen Big Smoky Top Coat isn't meant to be worn alone but I decided to try it out anyway. It's a bit streaky so I needed 3 coats to get it even but it's pretty easy to apply. I wish I could have gotten it streak free with just two coats since I liked it a bit less opaque than shown here. I won't be using it again as an actual polish but it will be fun to try some Halloween looks using it as a top coat.
