Sometimes simple nail art is all I need. This one was inspired by my skirt. I used Sation Miss Emo Shun All & Sation Class Flirt.

Sation Class Flirt
Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Here we have a Sation Class Flirt from the limited edition collection called Class of Sation, available now.
I love this polish! Sation Class Flirt is a gorgeous, one coat wonder. Superb, perfect formula for this lovely vibrant polish with a jelly finish.

Lime Crime Peaches Cream & Stripes Inspired By Caitlin's Creative Corner
Lime Crime
has released their first nail polish collection & they've done
quite a good job. The packaging is fabulous, full of purple, glitter
& unicorns. I love the bottle shape & the brushes are a bit
wider than most which I always prefer. The collection, called Les Desserts d'Antoinette,
contains a rainbow of pastel shades & an off white. The formulas
were all a little on the thick side & work much better with thick,
as opposed to thin coats. Overall a very good first polish offering!
Here's what Lime Crime has to say about their polishes.
Lime Crime Peaches Cream is a pretty orange sherbet polish. I don't know if it looks good with my skin, but I don't care; I love it! Shown here at 2 coats.
The next day I decided to add some stripes inspired by this manicure from Caitlin's Creative Corner. Mine are a bit simpler than hers but I love how they turned out! I used Lime Crime Crema de Limon for the stripes. Pretty impressive that a yellow polish can cover in just one coat. I'll definitely be using it for more nail art in the future.

7 pastel shades, inspired by confectionery delights from Marie Antoinette's table. Recklessly pigmented crème formula is rich, smooth and opaque in just two coats. Each bottle comes equipped with a flat, wide brush for superb control and flawless application. Never tested on animals. 3-Free.

Layering With Lime Crime Pastelchio & Milani HD
I've been meaning to try using Milani HD as a holographic topcoat & I thought Lime Crime Pastelchio would be fun to use as a base color. I had to be a bit careful when applting to keep it from being streaky but it worked pretty well. I would love to have an actual neon lime green holo polish!

Lime Crime Les Desserts d'Antionette Nail Art
I used 5 polishes from Lime Crime's first nail polish collection for this manicure. I hadn't used my SmART Nails sticker stencils in quite some time & I still love them so much. Foolproof every time & I love this pattern. The base is Lime Crime Crema de Limon. I started out with just an accent nail of Lavendairy. Then I just decided to go for it & added Parfait Day, Pastelchio, & Blue Mousse.

Here's what Lime Crime has to say about their polishes.
Lime Crime Pastelchio is an amazing color but the formula was a bit tricky. It was thick, stringy & did self level. I love the color so much that I'm going to add a bit of thinner & try again. Is there such a thing as a neon pastel? Maybe it's a neon chartreuse. I think this is a terrific color for Halloween manicures!

Lime Crime Parfait Day & Neapolitan Ice Cream Nails!

has released their first nail polish collection & they've done

Here's what Lime Crime has to say about their polishes.
Lime Crime Parfait Day is a super bright pink that reminds me of strawberry ice cream. This color isn't really my style so I gave it away to an appreciative friend. Shown here at 2 coats.
Since this color reminded me of strawberry ice cream, I thought it might be fun to try some Neapolitan ice cream nails. It was one of those ideas that came in a flash & ended up being so much cuter than I imagined. I used Lime Crime Milky Ways & Maybelline Matte Stone for the other ice cream colors. I just free-handed this one because I didn't one the lines to be too perfect. Will & I had a party at our lace the night I was wearing these nails & they were a big hit!

Here's what Lime Crime has to say about their polishes.
Lime Crime Once Upon A Blue Mousse is a pale sky blue pastel shown here at 2 coats. This could almost be a one coat wonder but the formula was a little too thick & needed another coat to even everything out. Nice color but I have a couple of other sky blue polishes so I gave this one to a grateful friend who already sent me a picture of herself wearing it!
The next day I added some simple polka dots using Lime Crime Crema de Limon & Lavendairy. I always love polka dot nails & they are super easy!

Never tested on animals. 3-Free.Lime Crime Lavendairy is a lovely lilac pastel that I find very flattering with my skin tone. I think it will be on my toes a lot this coming winter. I had a bit of trouble with this one until I figured out that thick coats work better than thin with this collection. Shown here at 2 coats.
The next day I added a layer of Color Club Covered In Diamonds. It's an interesting polish but sadly the mylar pieces seem to have degraded over time & the polish is even gloppier than that was the last time I'll be using it.
