Zoya Rebel

Zoya Rebel is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.

I love blue polishes and Zoya Rebel is no exception. It's a nice medium blue with just a hint of green packed with silver microshimmer. I ended up wearing this one for a week which is almost unheard of in my world! Shown here at 2 coats, be sure to wait an few minutes between coats to avoid dragging.

Zoya Vega

Zoya Vega  is from their Spring 2014 Magical Pixie Dust Collection.

I'm a huge fan of Zoya's classic Pixie Dust polishes. That's probably an understatement. If I was forced to choose my top 5 favorite collections of all time, all three of the Classic Pixie Dust collections would be in that list. I wasn't sure if I would love these new Magical Pixie dusts quite as much though. I love holographic polishes but I've never been a huge fan of chunky glitters.

Zoya Vega is a beautiful dusty blue which just happens to be one of my favorite polish shades. While this I don't love Vega quite as much as the Classic Pixie Dust polishes this one is still a keeper for sure. I love the idea of using a polish full of bling and sparkle to perk up a typical jeans and tshirt sort of day.
The formula was a bit tricky, very dry!. I was hesitant to add polish thinner but decided to give it a try anyway & just a few drops helped significantly. Vega is absolutely loaded with sparkle & tons of holographic glitter too. A fun polish worth a few drops of thinner.

Zoya Sailor

Zoya Sailor is from their Fall 2013 Cashmere collection.Sailor is a navy blue creme with a great formula that barely needs two coats. It's a fantastic navy that never looks black, even in low light. While it's still a couple of shades too dark to leap into my all time favorites, Sailor is definitely a keeper!

Zoya Sunshine

Zoya Sunshine is from the Pixie Dust Fall 2013 collection. My regular readers know I LOVE the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes & I couldn't be happier with this new set! Here's what Zoya has to say about them.

nfused with even more magic and wonder! Because everyone wants more of it... The color experts at Zoya went back to the lab and created six more beautiful, long-wearing textured, matte and sparkle Zoya PixieDust Colors for Fall 2013! The incredible and best-selling formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other.

IMPORTANT PixieDust Application Information -  Do not use a base coat or top coat. Apply 1-3 (for full coverage) thin coats of polish. Allow product to dry down completely matte in between layers for full textured effect. The PixieDust textured formula may take up to 10 minutes to dry completely matte. Once dry, the textured finish is long lasting, matte and ultra-glittery!

I could wear Sunshine for days if I were the sort of lady who did that. Goes with everything & a new top 5 favorite! It's a nave blue Pixie Dust that covers in just one coat! The Pixie Dust polishes never require clean up because they stay right where you put them, never any pooling. They are great for nail art for the same reason. I've been using a base coat when I wear them & it doesn't seem to affect the finish as long as you wait for it to completely dry before applying the polish. Long Live the Pixie Dusts!

Zoya Dream

Zoya Dream is part of Zoya Zenith, their 2013 Winter Holiday collection.
Well I must say that Zoya Dream is just drop dead gorgeous! Zoya describes it as a deep space blue with holographic glitter & that's a perfect description for this amazing polish. Shown here in 2 coats; be sure to wait a bit between coats to avoid dragging. Zoya Dream is a new favorite for sure, I'd say a must have for any blue polish lover.

Zoya Cassedy

Zoya Cassedy is part of Zoya Zenith, their 2013 Winter Holiday collection. It's described as a pewter metallic & that is quite accurate. Sometimes look like a steely blue & sometimes leans a bit green. Great formula that reminds me of Zoya Edyta. Unique color that any metallic polish lover should pick up for their collection.

Quick Stripes With Sation

Sometimes simple is good. I wasn't going for super straight lines, just some cute hand drawn stripes. Easy to do on both hands & I love the end result! I started with a base of Sation Holiday Golightly & then added stripes with my Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Blue.

Sation Don Wannabe

Sation Don Wannabe is from their upcoming fall collection, The Miss-terranean, available 9/9. It's a truly stunning blue creme with just a hint of purple. The formula was a bit strange for a creme; the first coat was thin & tended to drag. The second coat applied nicely though. I also noticed that adding my normal topcoat made it turn about two shades darker. Have any of you ever had that happen before? It's not a bad thing, just odd. Strangeness aside, I LOVE this color blue, definitely my new favorite blue creme!

Sation Holiday Golightly

Sation Holiday Golightly is from 2012's holiday set. It's a beautiful baby blue polish loaded with icy shimmer but the formula is bit problematic. It's thin, streaky, & pooled in my cuticles. Gorgeous color but I decided not to keep this one.

Zoya Neve

Zoya Neve is from the new Satins - Fall 2013 collection. Neve is a slightly prurple leaning blue metallinc chimmer polish. I had some problems with the polish dragging if I went over it more than once & you have to be careful of brush strokes. On the plus side it looks good in two coats and dries very quickly. A perfectly fine polish but I'm not in love with the color so I'll be passing this one on to a friend.
I'm a voracious reader. You can check out what I'm reading on my Goodreads profile!

Layering With Zoya Rocky & Nyx

Occasionally a layering combination produces truly magical results like this amazing combo of Zoya Frida & Chloe from last year. I think I've found another winning combination with Zoya Rocky & Nyx! I used one very thing layer of Nyx over Zoya Rocky making sure to apply it carefully so coverage would be even. I got exactly what I was hoping for, a fun, dusty denim blue Pixie Dust finish!

Zoya Rocky

Zoya Rocky is from their Summer 2013 Stunning Collection.

I'm not sure how to accurately describe Zoya Rocky. Obviously it's a blue creme but what kind of blue? It leans ever so slightly green but it could still be considered a sky blue. Application was good at 2 coats. I might have to pull out my other blue cremes soon for a comparison. A very pretty polish to add to my collection.

Zoya Hazel

Zoya Hazel is from the Summer 2013 Irresistible collection.

Hazel is an icy steel blue metallic foil that covers great in two coats. This polish catches every little bit of light! Easy to apply as long as you wait a bit between coats. The formula is very similar to Zoya Edyta, almost velvety when being applied. Hazel dries quickly & doesn't need a top coat. A great addition to my collection!

Here's what Zoya has to say about this collection.

Zoya Liberty is a fantastic blue polish that makes me think of superheroes! I used my regular base coat, Nail Tek Foundation II & let it dry completely before applying Liberty. Applies easily in 2 coats as long as you wait for each coat to dry before moving to the next one. All of the Pixie Dust polishes wear very well even without top coat & stay truly matte even after the application of hand lotion. I adore them all!
