Elizabeth Arden Spring Gradient

Gradient manicures are my favorite go to nail art without a doubt. Almost impossible to mess up & so easy to accomplish. Here I started with a base of Elizabeth Arden Ahoy & then used a slightly damp makeup sponge to add Elizabeth Arden Seaview Crimson to the tips. Perfect for spring & it matches my shirt!

Elizabeth Arden Seaview Crimson

I picked up Elizabeth Arden Seaview Crimson while browsing the shelves of a tiny beauty supply store. I'm a sucker for square & rectangle bottles. I wish all polish came in non round bottles actually. They fit together so nicely when storing.
Seaview Crimson is not unique but it has a terrific streak free formula that covers in just 2 coats. It's a lovely true red jelly polish. Definitely a keeper for me! If you'd like a bottle for yourself, I've just opened a little storefront with various brand new polishes I've picked up over the years. Sometimes I see a closeout deal & I just can't help myself!
I'm a voracious reader! You can follow me on Goodreads!

Elizabeth Arden Ahoy

Elizabeth Arden Ahoy is one of two new polishes from their 2014 Summer Escape Collection. Ahoy comes in an adorable nautical themed box for all of you packaging fans!  The brush is a tad stubby but I love the wide curved bristles & it works very well.

Ahoy is a a muted coral neon unlike any others in my collection. A gorgeous shade for spring & summer! Shown here at three 3 thin coats, the formula is a bit streaky but applies nicely for this type of color & finish. Definitely a keeper!

Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather

I picked up Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather while browsing the shelves of a tiny beauty supply store. I'm a sucker for square & rectangle bottles. I wish all polish came in non round bottles actually. They fit together so much nicer for storage.

On to the polish, Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather is a muted purple shimmer with a mild turquoise duochrome effect. A pretty color that applied easily but not very flattering with my skin tone. I'll be passing this bottle along to a friend.
