Zoya Wendy

Zoya Wendy is my favorite from the Tickled Summer 2014 collection! It's a bright pink with strong coral leanings that I absolutely love! Great formula that covers in just 2 coats and made me happy every time I looked at it. My boyfriend Will also loves it & immediately used it for his toes. It looked darn good on him too! I took a ton of pictures of this beauty including a few of my adorable dog Wally & a shot with my beloved Rockport loafers. Wendy is an EXACT match for the chain detail on them!

Zoya Harper

Zoya Harper is my favorite from their Summer 2014 Bubbly collection.

Zoya describes Harper as "a cotton candy pink with a spun gold shimmer. Featuring the exclusive liquid-metal holographic jelly formula" & I agree. I love the way Zoya does gold & silver micro shimmer & it looks particularly stunning in a jelly formula. As for the holographic sparkles, they are the same lovely pastel cellophane glitter featured in Monet, just in a smaller size. Zoya Harper is shown here at 2 coats but I could almost get away with just one.

I didn't really like pink polish when I started blogging way back in 2009 but now I love a gorgeous pink and Harper has made into my top 5 favorite pinks for sure! I'd say this one is a must have for pink polish lovers.

Zoya Bar!

Zoya Bar is from their Magical Pixie Dust Summer 2014 & it is indeed magical!
Zoya Bar is part of Zoya's second set of Magical Pixie Dusts, textured sparkle polishes with holographic cellophane glitter! While I still love the plain Pixie Dusts more, these magical versions are also pretty special. Zoya Bar is a perfect neutral polish absolutely jam packed with bling. I wore Bar for 5 days which is very rare for me since I usually change my manicure much more frequently. The Pixie Dusts wear like iron and even if you do somehow manage to chip it, you can very easily just dab a bi of polish on & fix it right up, not something I can do with a creme polish!

If you love Zoya Tomoko & you love fancy nails with minimal effort, get this one immediately! Zoya Bar applied easily in two coats that dry superfast. I think Bar will be my new go to polish for when I need to get out the door fast but still HAVE to do something about my nails.

Revlon Cherry Fizz

My friend Casey kindly gave me one of her cherished bottles of Revlon Cherry Fizz recently & I love it! Cherry Fizz is a dark hot pink jelly with sparse hot pink shimmer that's even prettier in person. It's got a great formula shown here at 5 coats. Perfect for spring & summer, thanks Casey!

Zoya Cosmo

Zoya Cosmo is from their Spring 2014 Magical Pixie Dust Collection

I'm a huge fan of Zoya's classic Pixie Dust polishes. That's probably an understatement. If I was forced to choose my top 5 favorite collections of all time, all three of the Classic Pixie Dust collections would be in that list. I wasn't sure if I would love these new Magical Pixie dusts quite as much though. I love holographic polishes but I've never been a huge fan of chunky glitters.
I ended up falling in love with Zoya Cosmo. It's definitely my favorite from this collection & had me staring at my nails all day long. They looked like they were encrusted with diamond dust, making me feel like a fancy lady on a boring Thursday afternoon. Cosmo has the best formula from this collection &applied very easily in two thin coats. I'm in love & can't wait to use Cosmo again. I'll be using it for a glitter gradient & I'm sure it will pop up in other nail art in the near future. Stunning & unique!

Sation Tira Miss-U

Sation Tira Miss-U is so gorgeous! It's very similar to Zoya Rue but Sation's formula is much better, possibly because it's more of a jelly polish than a straight up creme. Shown here in two coats that applied like a dream. I'm in love with this lavender leaning neutral!

Zoya Tomoko

Zoya Tomoko is from the Pixie Dust Fall 2013 collection. My regular readers know I LOVE the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes & I couldn't be happier with this new set! Here's what Zoya has to say about them.
Infused with even more magic and wonder! Because everyone wants more of it... The color experts at Zoya went back to the lab and created six more beautiful, long-wearing textured, matte and sparkle Zoya PixieDust Colors for Fall 2013! The incredible and best-selling formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other.
IMPORTANT PixieDust Application Information -  Do not use a base coat or top coat. Apply 1-3 (for full coverage) thin coats of polish. Allow product to dry down completely matte in between layers for full textured effect. The PixieDust textured formula may take up to 10 minutes to dry completely matte. Once dry, the textured finish is long lasting, matte and ultra-glittery!
Zoya Tomoko is a bit more sheer than most of the Pixie Dust polishes, shown here at 3 coats. Application is super easy though & it dries very fast. I love this champagne colored beauty, great polish for the holidays!

Zoya Sunshine

Zoya Sunshine is from the Pixie Dust Fall 2013 collection. My regular readers know I LOVE the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes & I couldn't be happier with this new set! Here's what Zoya has to say about them.

I could wear Sunshine for days if I were the sort of lady who did that. Goes with everything & a new top 5 favorite! It's a nave blue Pixie Dust that covers in just one coat! The Pixie Dust polishes never require clean up because they stay right where you put them, never any pooling. They are great for nail art for the same reason. I've been using a base coat when I wear them & it doesn't seem to affect the finish as long as you wait for it to completely dry before applying the polish. Long Live the Pixie Dusts!

Zoya Dream

Zoya Dream is part of Zoya Zenith, their 2013 Winter Holiday collection.
Well I must say that Zoya Dream is just drop dead gorgeous! Zoya describes it as a deep space blue with holographic glitter & that's a perfect description for this amazing polish. Shown here in 2 coats; be sure to wait a bit between coats to avoid dragging. Zoya Dream is a new favorite for sure, I'd say a must have for any blue polish lover.

Why My Blog Is Called Concrete & Nail Polish & OPI Done Out In Deco

People who stumble across my blog probably wonder about the curious name. It's actually very simple; Ashley & I make concrete! I snapped this spicture of her nails after we poured a few batches. OPI Done Out In Deco is her all time favorite polish (she's gone through two bottles & has two backups!) and it looks lovely even covered in concrete. I love this snapshot of my hard working sister! You can see some of our concrete work in our Etsy store, The Makerage.

Sation Lemon Pearl

Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website. Sation Lemon Pearl is from their limited edition collection, California Gleamin', available now.

Sation Lemon Pearl looks like the middle of a lemon creme cookie. Shown here at 2 coats with a fantastic formula for a yellow polish. It's got a bit of shimmer but reads as a creme on the nail. I love it!
