Simple Nail Art With Sation Peppermint Pedi

Sometimes something simple is all you need to create striking nails. I found the inspiration for these nails from Prima Creative. I started with a base of Sation Peppermint Pedi then added a big dot with a Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen & a bold V in my Gold Metallic Sharpie.

Nail Art Inspired By Rodarte Fall 2013

My Pinterest Nail Art Board is full of ideas for me to try & this time I chose this stylish french manicure from Rodarte's Fall 2013 show. I started with a base of Sation Hottie Biscottie then added thin french tips in black, gold, bronze & silver sharpie. I love them! It's extremely easy, a bit edgy & very modern..

Witches Cauldron Nails With Sation

Sometimes a cool idea just doesn't quite turn out the way you want it too. I got the idea from the blog Top Coat It who posted these amazing cauldron nails last year. I decided to make the cauldrons half moons & use a different polish for each spell. Great idea in theory but the end result is a bit of a mess. Maybe I'll try again next year.
I started with Sation Lemon Pearl then used my Silver Sharpie & a Sally Hansen Nail Art pen for the Cauldrons. Next up we have five Sation glitters! From pinky to thumb: Calorie Countess, Ego Friendly, For Better Or Never, Rich In Opportunities, & Tall Dark & Has Some.

This polish was sent to me for review. All opinions are my own & were not influenced by Sation! For more information you can read my disclosure policy.

Spider Nails With Zoya

I started with Zoya Cassedy then added a bit of Zoya Edyta in the corners of the spider webs. I used my Silver Sharpie for the webs & Zoya Amy for the spider.

Nails inspired By A Gorgeous Book Cover: Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente

"Romantic and blood-streaked, and infused with magic so real you can feel it on your fingertips—Deathless is beautiful." —Cory Doctorow

Do you remember playing outside as a kid and looking for that secret entrance to another world? Maybe near the giant tree with the creepy face in the bark, or the big pink crystal you found in the rock garden. Or maybe if you stare up at the clouds long enough with the just right squint and enough concentration you could find yourself transported to another reality just on the other side of this one.A magical reality both brighter & more wonderful yet darker & more menacing too.
I spent hours doing this sort of thing & reading Deathless somehow reminded me of those hours spent with my own imagination.

For my nails I used American Apparel Poppy & California Trooper as seen here. I added the design with a black Sharpie. It worked pretty well & comes off easily with your polish.

Thanks for reading! I'm not sure how to link to my Goodreads profile, but I'd love to see some of you ladies there too.
