Zoya London

Zoya London is a textured glitter polish from the Zoya Pixie Dust Collection.

Here's what Zoya has to say about these polishes.
Infused with magic and wonder! The latest "must-have" nail polish finish - textured, matte and sparkling! This newly developed formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other. The color experts at Zoya have created six, long-wearing stunners for the introduction of this enchanting look.

IMPORTANT Pixie Dust Application Information - Do not use a base coat or top coat. Apply 1-3 (for full coverage) thin coats of polish. Allow product to dry down completely matte in between layers for full textured effect. The Pixie Dust textured formula may take up to 10 minutes to dry completely matte. Once dry, the textured finish is long lasting, matte and ultra-glittery!
I followed the above instructions, no base coat or top coat. Application is very easy as long as you stick with thin coats & make sure to let them dry completely before adding another. Otherwise you'll have some dragging like with most matte polishes. Zoya London needs two or three coats for full coverage.

I'm completely head over heels for this collection. I chose Zoya London for my recent trip to New York City & it was just what I needed. Wore like iron & looked fantastic even after four full days of knocking around the city. In fact these pictures were taken after I got back from trip!

Sation Stirring Silver

Sation bottles are oval with thick glass bottoms. The new brushes are great for ladies like me that love wide brushes. You can purchase Sation's Big 3 Free polishes at their website.
Sation Stirring Silver is from their California Gleamin' Collection. It's a beautiful blue toned medium grey that applies easily & covers in just one coat! An excellent addition to any polish lovers stash. I love one coat wonders!

Sation Feliz Navi-Doll

Sation Feliz Navi-Doll is from their 2012 Holiday Golightly Collection. It's a beautiful icy pale grey shimmer. I love neutral pale greys & off white polishes. I think they look fresh & modern. I'm definitely keeping Feliz Navi-Doll but the formula is a bit streaky so you'll need 3 to 4 thin coats for even coverage.
I'll post a holiday look with more from this collection soon!

Zoya Reagan & Some Quick Nail Art With Zoya Kelly

Zoya Reagan is "a deep, cool fuchsia pink with subtle blue undertone and an opaque cream finish." Lovely color & you can probably get away with one coat if you're careful. That always makes for winner in my world!
The next day I decided to add do some quick nail art with the beautiful Zoya Kelly

Geometric Nail Art

Super easy and fun nails I did a couple of weeks ago. I used Color Club Wild Orchid for the base color. I added a quick dry topcoat and then waited about 15 minutes. Next I used the corner of one of my smARTNails stickers to block off the v shape. You could easily use tape instead of course. I applied one coat of Nina Ultra Pro Salsa and quickly removed the sticker. Last step was adding some dots with my dotting tools using Pure Ice Wild Thing.

I'm usually much more drawn to geometric as opposed to floral patterns. Since this was so easy, I'll be doing variations very soon!

Color Club Wild Orchid & My Second Dotting Tool Nail Art Attempt

This is 2 coats of Color Club Wild Orchid from the Untamed Luxury Collection. It didn't get much attention but I really love this gorgeous grey with soft, subtle silver microshimmer. The base color is a lot like China Glaze Recycle which is still one of my top 5 favorite polishes. Nice formula too.

I tired my dotting tools again, but still haven't quite gotten the results I want. I just need to play with them more often. I used Nina Ultra Pro Salsa and Essie Mint Candy Apple.

I still can't believe how many of you responded in comments and emails to my post about the OMG! I was truly shocked at the frenzy I created. I received over 100 inquiries so I wasn't able to respond to everyone individually or I wouldn't have been able to eat or sleep for the past couple of days. They sold out super fast! I'm just sorry I couldn't find enough for everyone.
I'll be adding more polishes soon, no OMG, but I'll add more 2NITE and more from the Kaleidoscope collection.
If you live in the U.S. please just order them through my store, Medusa's Threads. If you live elsewhere, check the store to see what's in stock and then send me an email. I hope to add paypal and an option for international buyers directly to the store very soon.

Zoya Caitlin & A Water Marble

This is 2 coats of Zoya Caitlin. Easy application and an unexpected new favorite! It's a much lighter version of Zoya Kelly, which I'm wearing on my pinkie. Caitlin is a purplish grey creme that works great a s a neutral for me. I could wear it with a brown outfit since there is so much purple which I wouldn't normally do with a grey. Believe people when they say you need this one. It's unique and doesn't have any dupes that I can find.

The next night a did a quick water marble with the 2 colors. I love water marbling!

Color Club Soft As Cashmere

Nice color but it's super sheer & thin. This is coats, & you can see below that it's not nearly enough. This would take at least 4 coats, possibly 5! No thanks for a polish that isn't unique. I'm actually wondering if I got a bad bottle since I haven't seen anyone else have this problem. Does that happen though?
Essie Chinchilly is very similar, maybe a bit less yellow toned than Soft As Cashmere. This one's going into my to be frankened pile.

Sally Hansen Wet Cement & Konad

This is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Wet Cement. The formula was just ok on this one. It's a nice color but I prefer my darker grey China Glaze Recycle. What is your favorite grey creme polish?

For the Konad I used plate M63 & stamped it once with OPI Parlez Vous & once with China Glaze Adore.

I declare this polish and this Konad, meh.

Strange Beautiful Anthropolgie (Cinder Block)

Strange Beautiful sold these very odd but lovely polish sets exclusively at Anthropologie. Ashley picked this set up for me recently and it's super cool! You have to use each polish with the other one still attached. I thought this would be difficult or weird but I think it actually made polishing my nails easier. I didn't have to do any clean up at all! It basically just means you have a really long brush handle.
These colors don't have names, just "color inspirations". I find this a bit pretentious but that's ok because I also love that the company wasn't afraid to try something unique. This color was inspired by cinder blocks. I'm wearing two coats here but you can almost get away with just one if you're careful.
Lovely polish from a company that doesn't mind trying something different! You can see the purple polish here.

Sation Holiday Spirit

This is 3 coats of Sation Holiday Spirit. I really love this one! I found it at my favorite crazy, dusty polish store. I decided to start in one corner and search thoroughly until I found something interesting. This beauty was at the very bottom row in the very corner. Only $1 so I'll be going back to get more to add to future giveaways for sure!

I've already worn this one twice. There are many reasons to love this polish. The sheer charcoal base combined with the super holographic glitter camouflages my slightly stained nail beds even at just one coat, great when I'm in a hurry! The holographic effect is just as striking indoors too as long as there is some light hitting the surface. It also dries very quickly, is easy to remove and big 3 free!!

Here are a couple of shots that show the sheer charcoal base.

And here's a shot in the shade. Still pretty but all of the holographic effect turns into plain silver.
