Jamberry Kaleidoscope Nail Wraps - Review & Giveaway!

I usually have a bit of difficulty with nail wraps & strips simply because I am 6' tall with longish nails so my nails are definitely on the large end what would be considered average and therefore included in sizing for products like these. These Jamberry Kaleidoscope wraps were no exception but I was able to make them work with a full sheet. I absolutely love the fantastic multi color design that is something I could never accomplish on my own!

Application was typical of other nail wraps & the Jamberry sets come with clear instructions. I always find that the first few nails are a bit fiddly (you can see some imperfections in my pinky & ring finger if you look closely) but I'm flying through the application by the second hand. My favorite part of any nail wraps is how quickly I can get out the door after applying. No chance of wrecking my manicure because I didn't quite wait long enough to resume normal activity!

I didn't test wear time since I'm always changing my polish but I'm betting these would be a great option for vacation or simply when you're in a rush but you still have to have fabulous nails. I'd love to pick up a few more sets to have on hand in case of emergency.

Now the fun part for my readers! One lucky participants will win Jamberry Orchid Bouquet and a mini application kit (glass file, rubber cuticle pusher and alcohol wipe all in a cute little bag)!

Incoco Park Guell

Incoco Nail Strips are made of real nail polish & include a layer of base & top coat. The packaging is very nice & you have 16 strips to work with to get your full manicure. Their instructions are very clear & work great if followed. (I didn't buff my nail the first time I tried & a tiny imperfection resulted in a tear. I blame this on me not following instructions & not the product!)

I'm really not the target market for nail polish strips since I change my nails several times a week & these are made to last up to 2 weeks. I have to say these, however, these Incoco strips are pretty amazing & will be a truly fantastic for ladies who want nail art but don't have the patience or the time for creating it themselves.
In this post I'm wearing Incoco Park Guell. I chose this set because I could never achieve this look on my own. The first couple of fingers went a bit slow but after I got the hang of it, I really couldn't believe how quickly I had finished. And no waiting for them to dry! I could leave the house or do chores immediately, This is a huge plus for me! In fact I like this aspect so much that I'm thinking of purchasing more just for those days when I really need spectacular nails in a hurry.

Overall, I can't say enough good things about a product that I just didn't think was for me. I was wrong. I ended up wearing these for 4 days which is a long time for me & they still looked great. Removal is comparable to a couple of coats of a jelly polish, super easy! I've got my eye on this plaid for future purchase!

Update: When I posted this, I had planned on removing them later that day. I ended up not feeling well at all for a few days. This means I wore these for a full 8 days! I never keep the same manicure for that long & they still looked fantastic when I finally removed them. I think they really could last for 2 full weeks! I'm a complete convert & will be buying a few sets for busy weeks & for vacations!

OMG Nail Foil Strips American Flag

I've been on a nail strip kick lately & I couldn't wait to try out these American Flag Nail Foils from OMG Nails. They are harder to work with than the non-foil type but still totally usable with a bit of patience. I painted my nails with the amazing Zoya Elisa & added an accent American Flag nail. Perfect 4th of July nails in no time!

Incoco Shooting Stars!

Here we have an accent nail done with Incoco Nail Strips in Shooting Stars from their 4th of July collection. I'm really not the target market for nail polish strips since I change my nails several times a week & these are made to last up to 2 weeks. I REALLY love the ones I've tried so far for accent nail manicures though!

The Incoco strips say they are made of real nail polish & include a layer of base & top coat. The packaging is very nice & you have 16 strips to work with to get your full manicure. Their instructions are very clear & work great if followed. (I didn't buff my nail the first time I tried & a tiny imperfection resulted in a tear. I blame this on me not following instructions & not the product!)

I used Sation Peppermint Pedi for most of my fingers & then added the Incoco Shooting Stars strips to both of my ring fingers. I love the end result & I have plenty of strips left to recreate the look again for myself or to share with some friends.

I know there are people who could make this pattern freehand but I'm not one of them. The only time I can see myself using nail strips is for intricate designs that I know I can't accomplish on my own. Luckily, Incoco has tons of great designs that fit this description!

OMG Nail Strips Accent Nail

I have never tried any brand of nail strips before! I really like all of the styles that have been coming out in the pas couple of years but I just never got around to trying any. I finally decided to give them a shot with these OMG Nail Strips. I chose a lovely pattern that I know I can't duplicate. Since I'm a newbie at applying strips I decided to just add an accent nail to my current China Glaze Millennium manicure. (Millennium is still amazing; I need more chrome polishes!) The strips have instructions printed on the package so I just followed them. I have to say I was expecting lots of issues but the application was ridiculously easy! I love the design & I can't wait to try more. I have some American Flag Foil Strips I'll be trying out soon for July 4th.
