Zoya Haven

Zoya Haven is from their upcoming Wishes collection for Winter/ Holidays 2014.
Zoya Haven is a plum polish in what seems to me a slightly dated frost finish. Application wasn't great because the polish is a bit on the thick side and you have to really watch for brushstrokes. I didn't like this one at all at first but it has grown on me. Look how gorgeous it is in photos! Haven isn't my favorite finish or color family but it's still too pretty too pass on and it will look great on Will's toes this winter.

Zoya Savita

Zoya Savita is from their Matte Velvet collection!
Zoya Savita is a rich purple matte polish with a hint of shimmer; it really does look like velvet! Shown here at 2 easily applied coats, just be sure to wait a few minutes in between to avoid dragging. A stunning polish that wore very well for a matte with no chips or even any tip wear after 2 days. Great for Halloween and another winner from Zoya. This whole collection is just spectacular!

Can you guess who I might be for Halloween? What if my shirt was blue, my belt buckle was gold, and my shorts were khaki?
How about now? The colors of the outfit aren't right but I just wanted to see if I was comfortable wearing short shorts with a belt and combat boots which is not my normal look! And I needed to see if my hair was long enough to get the right hairstyle. I think if I can find the right colored clothing and make myself a sweet gun holster with thigh straps I can totally pull off Lara Croft from Tomb Raider! Are you dressing up for Halloween? Tell me what you're going to be!

Zoya Sansa

Zoya Sansa is from their Fall 2014 Ignite Collection.
Zoya Sansa is a very dark purple packed with copper microshimmer. The copper makes it lean brown in many lighting situations but it's a gorgeous rich purple in the the sunlight. Will loves it but it's a bit too dark for my tastes. Sansa is very pigmented and only needs 2 coats but make sure you don't go over an area more than once to avoid dragging.

Zoya Arlo

Zoya Arlo is part of Zoya's second set of Magical Pixie Dusts, textured sparkle polishes with holographic cellophane glitter! While I still love the plain Pixie Dusts more, these magical versions are also pretty special. The Pixie Dusts wear like iron and even if you do somehow manage to chip it, you can very easily just dab a bi of polish on & fix it right up, not something I can do with a creme polish!

Arlo is a faded, dusty plum color that I found very flattering. It's got a great formula, shown here using 3 thin coats. Very versatile color in a finish I love! I took a lot of pictures.

Zoya Marney

Zoya Marney (spelled Marnie on their website but Marney on my bottle) is from their Naturel 2 collection. Zoya calls this one a deep warm plum which is a very accurate description of this beautiful color. So far this one is my favorite from the collection for sure! Marney is very pigmented and I could almost get away with just one coat. The formula was a tad on the thick side so I added a few drops of polish thinner and the second coat applied even more nicely than the first. All in all another excellent polish from Zoya!
I love to read! You can see all of my favorites on Goodreads!

Sally Hansen Berried Under

Sally Hansen Berried Under is from their Sugar Shimmer collection. It's a gorgeous color that I think is a pretty dead on match for Pantone's Color of the Year for 2104, Radiant Orchid. The formula is excellent, shown here at 2 easily applied coats that dry quickly. Berried Under isn't quite as gorgeous as my beloved Zoya Pixie Dusts (no one does micro-shimmer like Zoya!) but it's still very beautiful & unique. The color is so flattering on me that I immediately used this on my toes too. Looking forward to trying more!

Quick Look At Zoya Summer 201 Magical Pixie Dusts

Just a couple of quick shots of Zoya's latest offering, Magical Pixie Dust Summer 2014.
Arlo, Bar & Ginni (left to right) applied like a dream and dried super fast. I used three coats here but I think two would work for Bar & Ginni; Arlo looks better with three. These have a much improved formula compared to the first Magical Pixie Dust set featuring Lux, Vega, & Cosmo. If you love Zoya Tomoko, you're going to want Zoya Bar as well. I'm pretty sure I'm going to love them all!
Just some quick first impressions, I'll have more photos & thoughts in future posts.

Zoya Hudson

Zoya Hudson is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.

Zoya Hudson is accurately described as a full coverage, purple orchid metallic with a silver shimmer. Great formula that covers in two coats, just a wait a minute or two between coats to avoid dragging. Fabulous polish for spring!
I am a voracious reader. You can check out what I'm reading on my Goodreads profile!

Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather

I picked up Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather while browsing the shelves of a tiny beauty supply store. I'm a sucker for square & rectangle bottles. I wish all polish came in non round bottles actually. They fit together so much nicer for storage.

On to the polish, Elizabeth Arden Chelsea Heather is a muted purple shimmer with a mild turquoise duochrome effect. A pretty color that applied easily but not very flattering with my skin tone. I'll be passing this bottle along to a friend.

If you'd like a bottle for yourself, I've just opened a little storefront with various brand new polishes I've picked up over the years. Sometimes I see a closeout deal & I just can't help myself!

Sation Tira Miss-U

Sation Tira Miss-U is so gorgeous! It's very similar to Zoya Rue but Sation's formula is much better, possibly because it's more of a jelly polish than a straight up creme. Shown here in two coats that applied like a dream. I'm in love with this lavender leaning neutral!

Zoya Odette

Zoya Odette is from their first release for 2014, Zoya Naturel.

Zoya Odette is a dusty, medium toned, orchid creme. Although the color didn't seem exciting at first glance, it is unique to my collection & very pretty. Shown here at 2 coats that applied much better after I added a few drops of thinner. I'm keeping this lovely lady.

SoFlaJo Purple Reign Of Terror

SoFlaJo is an indie brand that makes lots of interesting polishes. Purple Reign of Terror is from her 2012 Terrified Halloween collection. It's a very dark purple jelly with sparse holographic glitter. Very streaky& sheer at first. Shown here at 3 coats. I think it would have been prettier with more holographic particles, but it's too dark for me anyway. I'll pass this along to friend that likes vampy polishes.

Zoya Payton

Zoya Payton is part of Zoya Zenith, their 2013 Winter Holiday collection.
Zoya Payton is a deep dark purple jelly polish packed with scattered holographic glitter. Nice formula that covers in just two coats. It's a bit darker than I normally like but it's such a truly beautiful polish that I'm keeping it for sure!

Zoya Mason & Will's Funny Jack-O-Lantern

Zoya Mason is from the new Satins - Fall 2013 collection. Mason is a magenta shimmer that doesn't do anything for me at all. The formula is just ok, very thin & I found it hard to keep enough on the brush to cover a whole nail without re-dipping my brush. The color & finish seem very dated to me too. Overall, not for me & one of my least favorite Zoya polishes ever. In fact, I'm not a fan of the Satin collection & will only be keeping Maria Luisa. Just not my style & the formulas weren't that great. Zoya makes many of my favorite polishes, but unless you really love shimmers, I think you can pass on this collection. Pick up Zenith, Cashmeres, or any of their Pixie Dust polishes instead!
