Zoya Autumn

Zoya Autumn is from their Fall 2014 Ignite Collection.
Zoya Autumn is the copper polish of my dreams! No other company does micro shimmer as well as Zoya and this copper polish loaded with gold flecks is a real show stopper. The first coat is patchy but every thing looks magically looked perfect on the second coat. Truly gorgeous!

Color Club Gold Struck

I won a BirchBox subscription last year & that's how I picked up a mini Color Club Gold Struck, a Birchbox exclusive. I didn't like this one the first night I applied it, but it grew on me over the next few days. I got several compliments and decided that the palest of gold shade actually worked well with my skin tone.
The formula is good but like all chrome metallics, you have to be careful about your brushstrokes. So eye-catching that I may have to pick up a full sized bottle!

Zoya Hudson

Zoya Hudson is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.

Zoya Hudson is accurately described as a full coverage, purple orchid metallic with a silver shimmer. Great formula that covers in two coats, just a wait a minute or two between coats to avoid dragging. Fabulous polish for spring!
I am a voracious reader. You can check out what I'm reading on my Goodreads profile!

Zoya Brooklyn & Cosmo!

Glitter gradients are the best! Here I started with Zoya Brooklyn and then added a bit of Zoya Cosmo starting at the base of my nails. This look reminds of a gorgeous jewel encrusted ball gown, something you could wear on the red carpet; I love it!

Zoya Brooklyn

Zoya Brooklyn is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.

I love Zoya & metallic polishes but Brooklyn is not going to work for me. The formula is thin, streaky, & full of brushstrokes. The color looks terrible with my skin tone & the finish seems very dated to me. I'll be passing this one along for sure. One of my least favorite Zoyas ever.

Zoya Cassedy

Zoya Cassedy is part of Zoya Zenith, their 2013 Winter Holiday collection. It's described as a pewter metallic & that is quite accurate. Sometimes look like a steely blue & sometimes leans a bit green. Great formula that reminds me of Zoya Edyta. Unique color that any metallic polish lover should pick up for their collection.

Zoya Giovanna

Zoya Giovanna is from the new Satins - Fall 2013 collection. It's a lovely emerald green shimmer that applies easily in two coats. Very pretty but I don't seem to be interested in shimmers these days so I'll pass this along to a friend.

Zoya Neve

Zoya Neve is from the new Satins - Fall 2013 collection. Neve is a slightly prurple leaning blue metallinc chimmer polish. I had some problems with the polish dragging if I went over it more than once & you have to be careful of brush strokes. On the plus side it looks good in two coats and dries very quickly. A perfectly fine polish but I'm not in love with the color so I'll be passing this one on to a friend.

Layering With Zoya Ziv & Maisie

Just a simple but pretty layered look with one coat of Zoya Maisie over Zoya Ziv. Subtle with hints of magic!

Zoya Channing

Zoya Channing is from the new Satins - Fall 2013 collection. It's a rusty red metallic foil with fantastic coverage. You could probably get away with one coat if you're careful! I used two coats here & a topcoat. Great fall polish!

Zoya Ziv

Zoya Ziv is from their Winter 2012/13 Ornate Collection. They nailed the description for this one, calling it a yellow-toned metallic gold foil with silver highlights and warm gold flake glitter accents. It's a fantastic & unique polish that covers nicely in two easily applied coats. I think this one is a must have for any gold polish lover!

OMG Nail Strips Accent Nail

I have never tried any brand of nail strips before! I really like all of the styles that have been coming out in the pas couple of years but I just never got around to trying any. I finally decided to give them a shot with these OMG Nail Strips. I chose a lovely pattern that I know I can't duplicate. Since I'm a newbie at applying strips I decided to just add an accent nail to my current China Glaze Millennium manicure. (Millennium is still amazing; I need more chrome polishes!) The strips have instructions printed on the package so I just followed them. I have to say I was expecting lots of issues but the application was ridiculously easy! I love the design & I can't wait to try more. I have some American Flag Foil Strips I'll be trying out soon for July 4th.

Art Deco Accent Nail With Zoya Bobbi & Kerry

I occasionally help out a fellow Tulsan with his excellent effort to bring authors to town for fabulous, free events. It's called Book Smart Tulsa & I sometimes volunteer my time to show authors around my hometown. I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with the lovely Therese Anne Fowler, author of Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald. Her book event took place in the gorgeous art deco lobby of the Atlas Life Building. Period appropriate clothing was encouraged for the event & while I didn't have a dress, I was able to do a super quick art deco inspired accent nail.
I used Zoya Bobbi for the base then used striping tape & Zoya Kerry to make my quick design. Not my best effort, but not bad considering the very small amount of time I had that day.
